Absolut Second Skin

The first in what has become an annual tradition of producing a limited-edition holiday/Christmas release, Absolut Snowflake was a snowflake covered skin for the Absolut bottle. Released in 2005.

Absolut Colors was the brand’s first Middle of Year limited- edition release. Dressed in the Pride flag, the design was both a nod to the brand’s long-standing support for the LGBTQIA+ community and a pledge to continue its support for equality. For this limited edition, Absolut collaborated with artist Gilbert Baker, one of the most prominent forces of the modern LGBTQIA+ movement and designer of the original rainbow flag back in 1978. Originally released in 2008.

Absolut Tropics was the brand’s first limited-edition Global Travel Retail Exclusive. Triggering delightful memories of sun- drenched tropical destinations, the concept developed by brand consultancy Williams Murray Hamm uses thermal imagery of maps to represent the various tropical flavors. Absolut Wagner was the brand’s first limited-edition bottle supporting a campaign. Released following the Absolut Blank Campaign where 20 artists were given total creative freedom within the iconic bottle shape, the design features the space- inspired artwork of Mario Wagner. Absolut New Orleans celebrated the carnival atmosphere of one of the most vibrant cities in the US. Following the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina, Absolut donated all the proceeds from sales to organizations benefiting New Orleans and cities along the Gulf Coast. Released in 2007.
