SUSTAINABILITY

The Road Ahead

Love Your
Mother Earth

It’s in our nature

Absolut Vodka is made with winter wheat and pristine water, but that’s not all. It’s also made with love for our mother earth.

Like most Swedes, we have the upmost respect for our environment and believe we all have a responsibility to protect and preserve it for generations to come.

This love and respect for our natural surroundings has shaped how we produce our vodka from the very beginning. Over the years, we have gone further by developing the beliefs and principles we have always lived by into a set of sustainability goals. These now influence everything we do.

THE STORY SO FAR

By making conscious choices, we’ve made significant improvements in the following key areas:

Absolut Vodka is made from winter wheat, which gets almost all the water it needs from rain, normally no irrigation is required. The specific varieties of winter wheat Absolut specifies also require less nutrients, herbicides and pesticides than most, further reducing the environmental impact.
